It tends to be general knowledge that GK’s and Defenders careers can be sustained at the highest level for longer than most others.We have a debate at work a few weeks back and opinions were fairly split and was curious to find out others opinions on the matter.Central Strikers vs Central Midfielders.There is the obvious playing style, attributes etc to take into consideration, but it was more a generalised debate.So who’s careers between Central Strikers and C Midfielders do you think can be sustained at the higher levels of the game for longer?

Please help.
